Sometime during the late hours of the night, the clouds rolled in with their load and let loose upon the unsuspecting streets down below. It's the end of another week in Krakow, another week in this unending night and another week where The Lady's motive lay in wait. As the bell tolls seven, the rain continues to soak the city below as fog crowds the air, although it's not nearly as suffocating as the kind found blanketing a large portion of the city.

[Well, for starters, it would probably be good to mention the state of the tank as is. Because of Raven's... enthusiasm, there is a nice, big, jagged hole in the middle of the tank, with some spiderwebbing cracks extending from that area. However, Seteth may also notice some smaller holes dotting the top of the tank, with some cracks originating from those points as well.

Inside the tank, there's not really much beyond your standard gravel and some now-drooping aquarium plants. And of course, there are some rather sizable fish chunks that were not purged onto the ground when the hole was made.]

[...hm. You know, he kind of doubts it, but he’ll see if the McKnife matches the smaller holes at all in terms of size. At the very least, it’ll give him a point of comparison.]

[It doesn't match at all! While the knife would make a more slit-like hole, these are almost perfectly circular, with radial cracks extending from the centre. If he looks through one of them at a slight angle, he might even see a hole on the other side of the tank that matches.]

[... well, that’s fucking strange. How many holes are there?]

[There's quite a number of them in the glass, but maybe around 10 or so if we exclude whatever is lying shattered on the floor?]

Does anyone have a knife that hasn’t just been soaking in aquarium water for however long?

I won’t require it for long.

[He’ll look over his left hand and debate a moment before giving himself a small cut in the back of his hand, then using Sanguis to, uh, try and puncture a hole in the more intact glass.

...it’s a little clumsily done because this is his first attempt at using his weird blood powers, but can he do it?]

[He can indeed do it! Depending on how fast he goes with the blood, he can probably make a pretty similar mark with some trial and error; if he's too slow, he'll probably just kind of... knock against the side of the glass or crack it lightly rather than piercing through though.]

[It takes him a few tries to get the speed up, but eventually he gets his blood to nyoom into the glass and break through! How much does it resemble the smaller holes?]

[It's pretty close! It has to be pretty fast but when he manages it will resemble the smaller holes a lot.]

[Indeed!? Is there anything else he'll be looking around for? There's still that nice burning smell that's just kind of hanging around the tank area which i definitely didn't forget to mention earlier...]

[Hm. Well, he’ll check out the other tanks just in case, because someone might’ve hid something in those...]

[Well, on his way there he'll probably run into a few small candles on the floor. They're not too distant from the broken tank too; they're more or less sitting in the large puddle of water that's messing up the place, although they are extinguished so it would be pretty easy to miss them otherwise.

...There may also be something lying near one of the candles.]

He’ll crouch down and try and see what that something is!]

[It's... a dead fish. Oddly enough though, this one's been neatly sliced up unlike the other ones that spilled out of the tank.]

[...what the fuck, actually? What kind of fish is it? Is there anything special about it aside from the fact that it’s been sliced up?]

[It's a small one, one of those decorative kinds that you would use for display more than anything else. Aside from being being cut up and being dead from the whole thing, not particularly; no chunks taken out of this one, that's for sure. Think of it more like just being opened up rather than fileted or anything, though.]

[ WELL SINCE HE HATES HIS LIFE AND IS WANDERING AROUND HERE NOT TOUCHING ANYTHING NOW does this burning smell like wax/like it would have come from the candles, or is it more like something got burned? ]

[There is definitely some burning smell coming from the candles although that's only near the tank. As Rideaux entered, he would have also noticed a strong, burnt and coppery smell by the wall.

You know, the one with the holes in it.]

[ Checking that out, then... does the burning smell come from the holes themselves? Is anything singed around where the blood is leaking out? ]

[The burning smell does indeed seem to be coming from the holes! It's... honestly he's going to have to kind of shove his face fairly close in there, but since I imagine Rideaux has experienced his fair share of... interesting scenes when it comes to bodies, it's more like the smell of burning blood. As for what he sees, there's nothing visibly singed around the holes, nope.]
