Sometime during the late hours of the night, the clouds rolled in with their load and let loose upon the unsuspecting streets down below. It's the end of another week in Krakow, another week in this unending night and another week where The Lady's motive lay in wait. As the bell tolls seven, the rain continues to soak the city below as fog crowds the air, although it's not nearly as suffocating as the kind found blanketing a large portion of the city.

Are you awake this fine morning? And if you are, just where are you hanging around today?

[ Mikami can, of course, not pass up a body. Not because he particularly likes bodies or because he has a very strong stomach for gross things... but because of JUSTICE. He's still on this trip, nobody has yet knocked him down.

But Lysithea is already surrounded by people and you know what... that's fine. He wasn't that eager for soaked deadness.

So instead he'll join Suzaku in peering at the... ]

[ Alright, deep breaths. GOOD THING HE PILFERED A FACE MASK THAT HE CAN NOW TRY AND USE AGAINST THE SMELL.

How big are our chunks and do they look like they've been cut or torn apart? ]

[ Gross indeed.

And there does seem to be a trail that's coming from inside the museum. He'd need to hop over to make sure, but it's not the puddle you would expect from just an open window. ]

[ Two things! What kind of clothes are we looking at (a dress? a suit?)

Who would they fit? Does it look like they were stretched out by someone having really nice dorito portions or do they look as good, besides being wet, as they usually do? ]

[Well, for starters, it would probably be good to mention the state of the tank as is. Because of Raven's... enthusiasm, there is a nice, big, jagged hole in the middle of the tank, with some spiderwebbing cracks extending from that area. However, Seteth may also notice some smaller holes dotting the top of the tank, with some cracks originating from those points as well.

Inside the tank, there's not really much beyond your standard gravel and some now-drooping aquarium plants. And of course, there are some rather sizable fish chunks that were not purged onto the ground when the hole was made.]

[ugh!!!! he's a sorcerer, not a ninja!!!! but anyway, in he goes to check it out just to make sure.

Okay, so he's assuming that this leads from the crime scene over to here and then out the window, is that about right? Is there anything noteworthy about the lock on the window?

If that's it, he'll climb back out (why did he wear his robes today!!!) and maybe go check out what Sirius was examining before.]

[ Not a suit, that's for sure. This area of clothes seems to be everyday wear for village townsfolk, so there's some plain dresses along with some simple tops and pants. Mercifully no doritos were harmed in the making of this case, as the clothes look as they normally do besides having the errant wet splotch. ]

[...hm. You know, he kind of doubts it, but he’ll see if the McKnife matches the smaller holes at all in terms of size. At the very least, it’ll give him a point of comparison.]

And yes, the trail leads from the crime scene over to the window. The lock is a pretty simple one and there's nothing to note about it. Ninja excursions over, he'll find that the flattened grass lines up directly outside the window. ]

[Mikami is going to have to shower twice and wash his clothes thrice after this, because everything is pretty disgusting all around. But anyways, the chunks laying in the puddle on the ground are pretty irregular in both size and shape. Torn apart is closer to the mark than cutting; there's nothing neat about these although for a couple of fish that look comparatively undamaged (that is, aren't reduced to bits), it still looks like a chunk or two was blown out of them.]

Okay, let's get a better look at this! So you said the grass looks flattened, is there anything else off about it? Aside from the skid mark, of course.]

[ Case clothes, there's nothing in the pockets or anything else to note about 'em.

Poking around in the props may bring pangs of nostalgia for a boy and a sherpa jacket, but nothing else. ]

[ Okay.He hates this. Why did his God leave him and let this happen---- no, he can't finish that thought. He knows. So all he can do is endure, right.

He's going to mentally say goodbye to his current pen here, because he'll use it to poke at the fish a little to get a better look at those comparatively okay ones.

Blown apart... how? Are bits missing more from the center or corners of the fish? Did someone eat these?????? ]

[ Wow.

He'll check back the dressing room on last time to make sure he didn't miss anything, before using a cape from the clothes racks to gather up the wet clothes. ]

[The autopsy report gives the estimated time of death at around 7 am this morning and it's probably around 7:20 am or so right now, just for reference's sake. For what it's worth though, the lack of livor mortis or rigor mortis does help confirm that somewhat, considering body temperature isn't usable with the way she was found.

There aren't any blatantly defensive wounds on her arms and hands, but there's a shallow cut on the index finger of her left hand, if he wants to look at that.]

[ Unfortunately it's just.. flattened grass with the aforementioned skid mark. ]

[On to the skid mark, then! What does it look like and how long is it? Is there a specific direction other than "away from the museum"?]

[ There's nothing else in the backstage area, so take that sack of semi- wet clothes and make like Santa. ]

[It doesn't match at all! While the knife would make a more slit-like hole, these are almost perfectly circular, with radial cracks extending from the centre. If he looks through one of them at a slight angle, he might even see a hole on the other side of the tank that matches.]

Okay no, let's rewind. It's more like a centre chunk was taken out. Mind, these fish aren't huge either (think goldfish sized) so even the most dainty of bites would not make something that looks like that. When I say it looks like a chunk was blown out of them, I mean it.]

[ Looking over at the aquarium holes, we begin to understand this. Maybe.

Does the chunk roughly match a bullet size? ]
