Fine Food(?) and Music(???) Await You

[Well that was truly a heartbreaking matter, to say the least. But what follows will be important. If they crack now, there will be no telling what their future holds. So now, more than ever, it is important that they hold together.

Few seem prepared to rise to the occasion, so it is left to Olivert to prepare something truly spectacular.

As the room is prepared, he hums and serenades himself quite happily. It's a good amount of work but he doesn't seem to mind doing it himself, although he would never turn down a few extra hands if they wanted to assist.

The important thing is that the Opera House has been decorated with lights and tables and rose petals aplenty. Enough to brighten up their little gathering. Amongst the tables there is food, but considering at least some if not all of them were the prince's doing, perhaps a little caution may be in order. There is at least probably a fifty/fifty percent chance of it being an edible dish!

Outside there is a sign made up to draw their numbers in.

Tonight, a Grand Feast, to be shared amongst friends.
Everyone is highly encouraged to attend, though it need not be mandatory.
In the darkest hours it is important for the brightest lights to shine.
If necessary, tonight that light shall be me.
Wonderful music and food will be provided, you only need bring yourself.

Prepared by Olivert Reise Arnor.

[Trust nothing about this.]

I think those things might be the people. Or, what's left of 'em.

What do you suppose might have put them into this state?

Not sure about that part, yet. But I'm sure our "hosts" have something to do with it. What did they call us? "Survivors"?

And our spectators are people who did not survive... We don't know enough to say one way or another, but it is a compelling theory.

It'd make sense, then, why they'd want to come after us... it seemed like Rembrandt was barely holdin' em back. We lived... they didn't. I'd be mad as hell, too. [he grumbles] If I had my normal powers back, it'd be just as easy as me askin' them. Or at least holding one hostage. We'll have to get more creative, I guess.

It would be more than unwise to try and approach them before we have more information. Losing one of our number senselessly isn't really a mishap we can afford.

Some of our new powers might be more helpful than others, but we can't be sure of any offensive power in this current state.

Yer right about that...

Hm.... ya know.... I wonder if we could trap one?

Do we have anything that is stable enough to hold it trapped? Our means of capture are limited... though wait-- I did see an offer for bear traps at the post office.
moonfang: (huh?!)

A bear trap? Ain't that a little... big? They don't seem to be much bigger than a small dog.
