The clock strikes eight. The intermittent showers that dominated most of yesterday had, at some point during the night, escalated to a complete downpour that drenched the streets. Maybe that's why the morning might almost feel refreshing today—while it can't be said that the birds are chirping and the sun is shining brightly, the breeze is cool without being frigid while the sky is bright with the half moon.

Nevertheless. The deadline for Tuesday's motive was laid down as Friday, and amongst the pleasant earthy smell of the rain may be a tinge of something else.

Well now, how shall you spend this morning?

[Suzaku is now shining bright like the crazy diamond he is. He hasn't seen the actual area until now but he has seen other people milling around wearing alternate outfits besides the priest ones so he can conjecture. He'll give a good hard look at the floor first since watching his step here will be pretty important.]

[ While the floor isn't exactly new and pristine, there's nothing glaringly off about it, even under a bright light. ]

[Well Iago's looking at the clothes so he'll head into a dressing room to illuminate that next.]

[Quick glance into the adjacent ones to assume that is the case across the board but are there any benches to look under in these or should he move on?]

[ This is indeed the case across the board! It's likely wise to move on. ]

[then what's left to check... is the props? He'll see if anything is amiss in props.]

[ A wise place to look.

Because regardless of how familiar Suzaku is with the backstage area, it's pretty obvious that there's a large empty space where all the props are arranged. ]

[Wow that's a whole lot of nothing! What kind of shape are we looking at with the space, or is it more like what's around it?]

[ Literally. And what's around it is the way to go here, which is several deity statues. ]

[a missing statue???? well that doesn't make any damn sense to him, but... how big are these statues anyway? he'll try to pick one up.]

[ They're roughly person sized, so you'd think they would be heavy—except they're apparently made of foam. Suzaku can pick one up no problem. ]

[That's what he thought. He puts it back down after he's lifted it enough to be sure.

What kind of deities do these represent, incidentally? If there's an indication of that.]

[ There's a diverse representation here, but mainly Greek and Roman. ]

[Familiar enough then, he'll see if what's missing is someone really obvious from this lineup like Zeus, but other than that they seem pretty disorganized and "who" it is may not matter too much to begin with. The bigger question is what someone would want with a statue like that... Is there anything else that looks missing or bothered around here?]

[ Zeus is safe and sound, so it's some God of random accord. Nothing else is amiss or disturbed here. ]
