From what you can see, all the lights in the opera house are turned on. Only when you enter and see the open doors that lead into the main theater, you can see that room's lights are currently turned off. It's very dark in there.

Like before, Rembrandt escorts everybody to the stage. In the dark you still can see the many blue-eyed things you may be getting used to. They're still very scared of Rembrandt, staying as far away from the assistant as possible. The stage is illuminated by the spotlights, the only light in this theater.

The Lady and Rembrandt are at their balcony. She stands up, addressing the group:

"If you don't make this trial go like I want it, every single person in this room is getting vivisected!"

It has been a couple hours and she's still furious. It doesn't seem like her mood is going to improve anytime soon...if ever. Behind her, Rembrandt doesn't seem very impressed with her gratuitous threat. At least she probably won't get to make good on that threat, hm?

Let the trial for the death of Dist the Rose begin.

I don't know. Personally, I still think it's clothes and it's going to be as useless as last time, but it could be something else.

Let's go over who we suspect right now. I know Ango is the top choice for a few people here. Is there anyone else?

[He seems to be waffling on a few things, but after taking a moment to consider it he finally relents.]

...Alright. Give me a moment and I'll see what I can come up with. I want to have something substantial to back it up with.

[He'll pull out the loose notebook pages and pencil from earlier and start jotting down some notes.]

Maybe, given the cleanliness of it all, Mikami? I really ain't got a clue, though...

I do not, that's true. But I do have an alibi.

...It looks like people have been discussing both Ango and Mikami.

[ after hearing that cumore was asleep, raven makes a pensive noise. ]

If that's the case, then...

It seems that both of them have experience with crime, so I'd like to think that they both know how to clean up a crime scene relatively well. Though I'm still not buying Ango's explanation for why his sleeves are wet, I can also see Mikami not wanting his hands dirty. Literally.

This is all speculation, though. I'm open to hearing what everyone else has to think, Mikami and Ango included.

It's hard to say, with the way the killer left the crime scene perfect.

[ It's driving him a little nuts. He could only imagine how Iago feels.

But he definitely wanted to solve this. Dist was someone he liked speaking to...and they chatted more than a few times. ]

Maybe there's something we overlooked. The only hint so far of anyone using a power would be Dist in his attempt to get out of danger. I'm...wondering if the killer even needed to use one on their end at all.

[Luckily Shiro and Rideaux managed to convince him to speak up, so.]

I think it's fair to narrow it down to myself, Mikami, or Cumore. Everyone else either has strong alibis or would not murder Dist. And I obviously don't suspect myself, so that leaves Mikami and Cumore.

Mikami claims Cumore fell asleep and then he did as well, so their alibi can't be trusted. Either of them could have faked being asleep to sneak out and murder. Furthermore, as you stated, Mikami knows crime scenes and would know how to clean them up. But there's another piece here that I think we're overlooking: Cumore was quick to say 'the murder was done in the dark' and say that Sonui could be used to see in the dark when such information had been kept quiet before. The insistence on including this when nobody else even knew about it seems like a strange attempt to frame Dazai-kun.

Between those two, I don't know which it is. It could even be that they worked together on this. But they're both suspicious, and I know it wasn't me, so it must be one of those two.

We can wait a bit. There's plenty that hasn't been discussed yet. Let's revisit this 15 minutes before the cutoff.

[he nods] Yeah.

[Iago's still just sort of aggressively shaking, but he'll at least look up to answer that question.]

We need to know who killed him.

[I need to know is probably more accurate.]

We aren't sending an innocent person to die.

[just... ignore what he tried to do last trial... that was different.]

We've gotten it every time before this... We're gonna get it this time, too.

[It sure would be nice if he could believe that.]

If we're trying to avoid taking the hint, worst comes to worst, we can always vote off whoever would be more of a liability than an asset in these final upcoming days.
