It's a quiet night as the silence remains unbroken. Without the toll of the clock tower, only a choice few will be able to discern the time as the hands on all four faces remain fixed at 9:27. And yet, even those without any means of checking the time will probably get the picture: it's been four consecutive weeks of death already, so what makes this one any different? So even though the lines between days may blur and tangle together, time still marches on and deadlines continue to draw closer.

The time is ████. Is there a reason to be out in the streets right now? Maybe.

[Not even Cumore deserves this shitshow. But after a moment the shrieking stops and the door opens. Iago isn't even pretending to have his shit together right now and he's not properly dressed in the usual suit (just loose clothes from the opera house that he sleeps in) and he hasn't done his makeup yet. Most telling is probably that he hasn't even put the mask on yet.]

If Iago needs to leave the room for any reason later he'll go with him; Cumore is mostly just here to make sure he's capable of getting his shit together before the trial. And that he doesn't lose track of time and goes to the damn trial at all, because apparently the Lady isn't fucking around today.

So do whatever for the time being. He's just here to ensure all of that happens eventually.]
