WEEK 5

WEEK 5

Was what happened on Friday yet another tragedy in a string of them or just a complete shitshow? Well, regardless of which line of thought you subscribe to, the reality of it is that another three of your number are no longer in this realm with you. At least the remains of what had happened last week have been neatly cleaned up as always, even if that might not change what’s been etched in your memories. The drum set in the jazz bar remains busted though, because the masterminds aren't that generous. At least the tarot shop and boutique remain fine even if the vanished crystals and women's clothing aren't going to be restocked.

But either way, it’s a new week, and that means new locations to explore as the fog gives way to more of the city and its lamplit streets. The new moon waxes to half this week, appearing as a crescent moon for most of the week. It's far from optimistic, but maybe the brightening is a sign that this will be over soon...? Or maybe it just means the worst is yet to come, it's hard to say.

[[Welcome to Week 5! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 5 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]
moonfang: (manicured)

Never have I ever been outside for more than an hour.

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
And I mean outside yer house or wherever you live.

[ Sure, we'll drink to it. ]

You've been out for a few weeks now.
moonfang: (LOUD NOISES!!)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Before this!
pr159: (or let me put this another way)

[personal profile] pr159 2020-02-05 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
And if where you lived was outside?

[ He's obviously going to go ahead and drink since it's still true either way, but. Putting that out there. ]
moonfang: (pic#7938673)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Why would you live outside... Get a tent.
pr159: (trust me you don't need to talk to me)

[personal profile] pr159 2020-02-05 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Are you serious?
moonfang: (you talk too much)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Yes? Why wouldn't I be. If this stupid city has taught me anything, it's that outside sucks.
deadlygoals: Len aka <user name="tsundereban" site="plurk.com"> (☠6)

[personal profile] deadlygoals 2020-02-05 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Sometimes you have to live out on the streets.
moonfang: (>:T)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
Eh? Like homeless people? Don't they at least have a tent or something?
deadlygoals: Len aka <user name="tsundereban" site="plurk.com"> (☠40)

[personal profile] deadlygoals 2020-02-05 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Not always. Yokohama used to have a lot of orphans roaming the streets. Sometimes they would find an abandoned building to stay in, but not always.

[ Is he talking from experience? It's a mystery ]
pr159: (please just go)

[personal profile] pr159 2020-02-05 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
[ side eyes... but anyway. ]

Even if you can spare the money for a tent, there isn't any space for them on a lot of crowded city streets, and if you leave the city, you're leaving yourself open to monster attacks.
moonfang: (what's over there?)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Dudes.

I didn't mean to bring up such a depressing subject....

[personal profile] pr159 2020-02-05 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not arguing that.
moonfang: (REALLY.)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
.... Awkward.

Well, I kinda meant.. being a homebody? Even if your home is... one particular spot outside, I guess.

Why you gotta make this weird!
drydrown: those shoes with that dress though (EHHH ♡ now wait just a minute)

[personal profile] drydrown 2020-02-05 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
[I mean. Sure?]

[SURE......]
baitless: a very subtle smile. (ah yes st. cethleann.)

[personal profile] baitless 2020-02-05 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
It’s not pleasant outside here, but the outdoors are actually quite nice in late spring and early fall.

[so of course he drinks!]
moonfang: (you talk too much)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-05 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
It rains here way too much.
baitless: an expression that can serve as either deep frustration or, perhaps, some level of grief. who can say. (i am so tired all of the time.)

[personal profile] baitless 2020-02-06 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
That definitely puts a damper on things. I do not particularly enjoy going out in the rain myself...

[if his hair gets too wet it will reveal Secret Ears.........]
moonfang: (black mask 2)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-06 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Rain just reminds me of bad times at home... [he takes out his snowglobe with the raindrop-shaped glitter and shakes it] Whenever Ichigo is depressed, it rains constantly... and there's no where to get out of it.
baitless: bringing a hand up to his face thoughtfully. (chai... just means tea...)

[personal profile] baitless 2020-02-07 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, that does sound unpleasant. I never quite thought about how difficult it would be to have your environmental conditions depend on someone else's emotional state...
moonfang: (REALLY?!)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-07 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
And what's worse is that his emotional state affects our emotional state. That rain that falls makes ya feel like garbage.
baitless: bringing a hand up to his face thoughtfully. (chai... just means tea...)

[personal profile] baitless 2020-02-09 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Well, no one likes being caught out in the rain, though I suppose there are such things as pleasant summer rains. I'd imagine it's... different, though.
inordertobelieve: (neutral: what is holy)

[personal profile] inordertobelieve 2020-02-05 09:43 am (UTC)(link)
This is ridiculous

[ Buuuuut. Drink. Obviously.]
