Well that sure happened
[Ango truthfully isn't much of a cook, relying mostly on takeout food to keep himself fed. But takeout isn't an option here, and after that...colorful trial, he doesn't have it in him to trust food that he isn't preparing himself.
It's not bad, really. Just rather plain. There is also a noticeable lack of meat among everything he's prepared too. And it all goes well with the liquid diet he's supplying, courtesy of the jazz bar. Plenty of booze bottles and glasses can be found for your drinking needs. He's sure he's not the only one who wants to forget that whole cursed trial.]
Food and drinks are in the opera house. Be sure to drink responsibly.

[There are also no decorations, beyond the mess left behind from earlier.]

[look at them go, this is surely the most intense game of chess that has ever been played in krakow!!]
Did you play it with your king?

[All this needs is some dramatic zooms and camera pans...!!]
Though I went easy on him. Did you play it much with yours?

[GARON SURE ISN'T...]
No, he's... not really patient enough for games like this. [Considering that Iago's moves are pretty quick, that's probably saying something.] He's also a sore loser, and I shudder to think how any match would go if he thought he was losing.
[Despite that he sounds pretty fond? It's Complicated.]

[WHICH...Ignis didn't really have much of a choice, but it's fine.]
I see...I can say much the same, though the kings I knew were much more gracious in defeat.
[That fondness is curious, but...He's not going to be nosy!!]

King Garon is a bit of an experience. [to put it lightly!!] He has always been driven and quite powerful; were he to take to the battlefield himself, there is nothing that could stop him. I believe he finds it frustrating to rely on anything aside from his own power.
[this is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about garon, ever, probably.]
