finer food, but no music
[Well that was...unpleasant, to say the least. Two more deaths, but this time there's the matter of whatever's happening to Seteth as well.
Ignis is trying not to think about it, which means he's thinking about it a lot, which means he spends a few moments pacing and trying to figure out what to do. He thinks back to the party - for as much as you could call it that - that Olivert hosted, and, well... He's not sure how much morale can be boosted, but it's worth a shot, isn't it?
The decorations of the opera house are much simpler this time around, but the food is noticeably better, between the actual operational kitchen and the fact Ignis is much more skilled than Olivert. The food is well made and it even looks delicious from where it's set up, and there's a sign outside the opera house that reads:]
A not as grand feast, for all of us to enjoy.
Attendance is not mandatory, but it might be better than staying alone.
Catered by Ignis Scientia.
[At least there are less rose petals this time.]

clock tower;
Ango? Do you have a moment?

I do, come sit with me. What's on your mind?
god i read that prompt wrong rip
He'll go and sit beside him. ]
I suppose I was thinking about what happened at the trial. I was wondering about what else could those two be hiding—of course, I know obviously there's a lot they were.
But, particularly I had thought this because of that reveal Suzaku made—that there were things we hadn't considered that they could have been keeping mum about us. Though...there might not be any use in talking about it.
[ And yet, here he was. ]

[Thorough questionings are in order.]
And there is always worth in talking about it. That's why you came up here, isn't it?
no subject
[ Seriously...! He's not surprised that they wouldn't let him use something like that. ]
Haha, yeah. That's true.
I guess talking about it could help, knowing what else we may have to look out for in the future.
no subject
What do you think might be in our future?
no subject
Though, he'll pause at the question, turning it over in his head. ]
I...really don't know. I wish I could say for certain.
[ There was another pause and he shook his head. ]
But, the more we keep working together, I can only think we'll find a resolution to this situation. If that makes me sound overly optimistic, then I don't care. It's just how I feel, and I know everyone can make it happen if we try hard enough.

[It reminds him a bit of a certain someone he's been spending more time with lately too. Hmm.]
no subject
...I think that's actually the first time I've heard someone say that?
[ Hmm, whoever could that certain someone be...! ]

[Ango's not really the optimistic type so he's just support to the shounen protags, but that's fine by him.]
Maybe some of that optimism will rub off on Dazai-kun too. Lord knows he needs a mood-pickup sometimes.
no subject
[ ...Though at hearing that, he couldn't help but smile. ]
If it helps him, I wouldn't mind if my optimism did rub off on him, especially if he needs it. Speaking of Dazai though...how do you two know each other back in your world? By being a longtime friend or...?
[ He was a little curious, after all. ]

I guess it was just some kind of simple curiosity, that's all. I didn't think too much when I was asking.

Well, I figured I could always ask Dazai more about himself. And though you're right I was being a little dishonest honest then, it's not because of that.
I've come to learn more about Dazai, but I realized I don't know much about you.
no subject
Most people don't, so you're hardly alone there. But I'm not that interesting of a person, I wouldn't even know what to say about myself.
[He does seem touched that someone is thinking about him though? He's used to going unnoticed.]

Maybe we could start with hobbies?

no subject
[ Like he has room to talk considering he's a workaholic but it's fine. ]
no subject
There's no time for that. Dazai is in prison, and we only have nine more days before the world ends. Someone has to keep everyone else in line while he is gone.
[The way he talks, he sounds more annoyed than worried.]
no subject
[ He wondered how the other could sound just annoyed at the world possibly ending. ]
Especially the part about the world ending. I hope you're ablr to resolve that as soon as possible, and...well I'd say free Dazai from prison but he's out of it right now.
no subject
...Don't tell Dazai-kun about his being in prison in the future.
no subject
[ ... ]
Wait, you're from his future?
