finer food, but no music
[Well that was...unpleasant, to say the least. Two more deaths, but this time there's the matter of whatever's happening to Seteth as well.
Ignis is trying not to think about it, which means he's thinking about it a lot, which means he spends a few moments pacing and trying to figure out what to do. He thinks back to the party - for as much as you could call it that - that Olivert hosted, and, well... He's not sure how much morale can be boosted, but it's worth a shot, isn't it?
The decorations of the opera house are much simpler this time around, but the food is noticeably better, between the actual operational kitchen and the fact Ignis is much more skilled than Olivert. The food is well made and it even looks delicious from where it's set up, and there's a sign outside the opera house that reads:]
A not as grand feast, for all of us to enjoy.
Attendance is not mandatory, but it might be better than staying alone.
Catered by Ignis Scientia.
[At least there are less rose petals this time.]

So yeah, kinda hard to piece together, other than noticing that he is rather meticulous in how he rips up his papers.]
It depends. What was her idea, exactly?

Ulquiorra isn't in the habit of studying the daily habits of humans, but he's kind of being hit with all of them out of necessity here even if he doesn't actually spend all that much time in the clergy housing or communal spaces or, like now, collective doom and glooming. He has plenty of that all by himself to go around.
Ergo: Ango is probably one of the easiest ones to grasp, in some ways.]
To leave behind an entirely useless message after her demise.

Of course not, I'm more practical than that. Any messages left after my demise will be useful.
But no, these are old drafts of my personal notes which I don't need anymore. And I'm not leaving them behind as a message, they're for my personal use. Or, well, the second drafts are. These copies are unneeded now.

Then you would want the woman's justice upon your killer?
[Academic curiosity all the way here -- granted, the fact that he perenially refuses to call the Lady by a title of any kind is probably a dead (heh) giveaway what he thinks of her antics and her setups.
He'll throw a cursory glance at the notes from where he's settled for the moment in the doorway.]
Keeping physical notes itself isn't especially practical nor useful here.

[And that would just get Dazai punished, which he doesn't want.]
Physical notes are useful for me. I don't have a perfect memory, and I want to make sure I don't forget anything.

[The faintest emphasis on 'here'; they've all had the time to acclimate themselves to the new place, the new people, even the new powers -- and things are undoubtedly about to accelerate in the wake of this trial.
But the fact that at least part of the base of themselves (and more, in the case of some late individuals) has been altered or taken altogether is still a thing.]
I suppose security isn't much of a concern, judging by the way you're treating them.
