finer food, but no music
[Well that was...unpleasant, to say the least. Two more deaths, but this time there's the matter of whatever's happening to Seteth as well.
Ignis is trying not to think about it, which means he's thinking about it a lot, which means he spends a few moments pacing and trying to figure out what to do. He thinks back to the party - for as much as you could call it that - that Olivert hosted, and, well... He's not sure how much morale can be boosted, but it's worth a shot, isn't it?
The decorations of the opera house are much simpler this time around, but the food is noticeably better, between the actual operational kitchen and the fact Ignis is much more skilled than Olivert. The food is well made and it even looks delicious from where it's set up, and there's a sign outside the opera house that reads:]
A not as grand feast, for all of us to enjoy.
Attendance is not mandatory, but it might be better than staying alone.
Catered by Ignis Scientia.
[At least there are less rose petals this time.]

You got back on your feet pretty quickly.
[ Looking at him curiously... He can see that he's sitting kind of weird, but he can't really tell why from this angle. ]
What did they do?

[He sighs in frustration, then takes a bite of food.]

[ It sounds like a pretty flippant response, but honestly, that seems like it might be preferable to having them get caught on fabric every time you move. ]
It seems less bad than it could have been, at least.
[ Since Seteth is still clearly him, just with one of his attachment slots filled. ]
Are they painful at all?

[Especially now that those are incredibly clean!! Technology is amazing!!]
And no, they are not. I haven't really tried to mess with them much, though.

[ Not everyone is that lucky. ]
Any insight into how they did it, then? You know, are they synthetic or actual monster parts; did they just attach something from another source or did you grow it?

[...he brings a hand to his chin.]
Well, you are a doctor, so if you wanted more information, I suppose I would not be averse to you examining them, even if I doubt this sort of thing is within your normal purview.

[ The "from Lysithea" is probably pretty obviously implied, since it's not like he ever had that conversation with Seteth. ]
I can assure you that my own work is strictly on the up-and-up in my world, at least.
[ The medical stuff, anyway. Not so much the fractured dimension stuff, or... uh, well, let's leave it at that, actually. ]

[..........even though that's complicated, don't ask about the dubstep bunker, he hasn't been there yet anyway
...
he's still not going to ask about the world destroying.]
Well, perhaps when you have time, you could examine them. I have no real idea if it's going to provide any answers, but... well, perhaps it might.

[ In the "causing problems" sense. It may very well hurt in the "ow" sense. ]
Let me know when you're feeling up to it and I'll make time.

And I will, yes.
