Sometime during the late hours of the night, the clouds rolled in with their load and let loose upon the unsuspecting streets down below. It's the end of another week in Krakow, another week in this unending night and another week where The Lady's motive lay in wait. As the bell tolls seven, the rain continues to soak the city below as fog crowds the air, although it's not nearly as suffocating as the kind found blanketing a large portion of the city.

Are you awake this fine morning? And if you are, just where are you hanging around today?

[They're burnt down fairly equally, there isn't like a huge difference between them at least. The candles were definitely set down though, they weren't lying on their side or anything.

If Rideaux wants to comb around on the floor for used matches, he will find them! They kind of got pushed around by all the waterworks going around here but they are around and soaked and fishy smelling.]

[ And these candles are where, exactly? Like, which side of the tank/how far apart are they spaced? ]

[Using this diagram as a reference, the candles are more to the bottom left corner of the pic, near the tank. Basically they're not on the same side as the holes on the wall.

The candles are only a foot away from each other at most, all pretty close to the tank itself. That said, it's not like they were spread out super evenly either?]

[Just in case, Suzaku's going to check to see if Rideaux needs any help in this area. These candles are almost too innocuous-seeming given everything that happened here. He'll check to see if there's anything else around them, or anything beneath the tank.]

[Seeing stuff in this darkness is not easy. It may be a minor miracle that Suzaku is checking these candles and the area beneath the tank. If he hadn't done that, he wouldn't have seen the notebook lying there beneath the tank.

The notebook looks just a little bit wet, but mostly undamaged. Which is rather lucky, given its proximity to big water containers and what not. Take a look inside the notebook?]

[oh wow, a notebook... that definitely seems like it would be more illuminating than these candles in their current state. Heck yeah he'll look inside, with a little self-glow to help.]

[Looks like the first page is torn, the torn page doesn't seem to be anywhere in the vicinity. Oh well. The next page, though, it has something on it.
